Rosie's Story...
Rosie is such a doll! She is about 8 months old and is a chihuahua/chow-chow/miniature pinscher mix. Rosie prefers to be cuddle right in your arms - she's so snuggly! She seems to do well with most other dogs and cats so far! We are unsure if Rosie has ever been around children before so a home with children around 7 and older would be best. We are still learning about her and will update as soon as we know more!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Michigan City Chihuahua/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Chow Chow for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Chihuahua/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Chow Chow breeders who help with Chihuahua/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
