Tasha's Story...
Adoption Pending! Available for adoption on December 1st. Tasha is a 7.5 month old kitten that we rescued from the shelter. She was very thin and became sick in foster within days. She was hospitalized for almost a week with pneumonia. She has been in foster for over a week (11/26) and her foster reports that she is eating and playing like a kitten. She is very loving and sleeps beside her Foster Mom with loud purrs. She is in a foster home with children and a big dog. The dog is very cat friendly but Tasha is scared of it. Her adoption fee is $50. We have not observed her with other cats. We ask that you complete an application first then it will be sent to the animal's foster and our adoption coordinator. Then a meeting can be arranged. Please contact info@clarkcountycares.com for an application or more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tasha, a Winchester Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Winchester, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Winchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
