Baby's Story...
"Are you looking for an angel who's disguised as a dog? Well, you found her! My name is BABY, and I have an adorable face, along with a delightful personality. I'm a four-year-old Staffordshire Terrier (a "Staffy"), and I'm ready to be part of your loving home. I love belly rubs and I appreciate adoring attention. You should see my little tail wiggle when somebody treats me with kindness. I know how to sit on command, and I've already been house trained. I'd be a wonderful family pet in a home where the kids are older, and I'd need to be the only dog in the home. I'd like to have a little yard in my new home, and I'd want to have a soft bed inside the house so I can be part of the family. I'm rather small for a Staffy, so I won't take up much room. I'd do well with a daily walk, and, if you'll allow it, I'd love to curl up with you on the couch for some snuggling. Please come visit me and look into the kindest eyes you'll ever see, then you'll know that I'm the kind of girl who'll be your best friend. I hope to see you soon here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter. Love, Baby"

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby, a El Cajon Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
