Right now she's living with my dog. She is still a bit skittish with him but she's getting more comfortable. I think she would do well in a home with a dog as long as you give her time to adapt.
She keeps to herself. She's my hallway/bathroom kitty... She stays in her crate most of the day but will wander off to eat and poop. She's gentle and let me bathe her TWICE when I first got her. She's pretty quiet but affectionate.
She doesn't really play with toys or use scratch posts. And she sneezes at catnip! My boyfriend who's not a fan of cats says she's a sweet heart.
Update (1/18/17) Her confidence has grown these past few weeks. She started using her cat post and roams around the house more. She also has taken a liking to feather toys!!
Josie has been staying with my friend who owns my last foster cat. She's been there for 2 weeks while I went away for vacation. To my understanding Josie has grown more bold. She still doesn't play extensively with toys but she does move around the house freely. Honestly, I don't think she ever really learned to play with toys (at her last home before she was abandoned) as it took me awhile to get her to play with the scratching post.
Her favorite activity is snuggling with her temp foster parents. She's relatively reserved. If you are looking for a rambunctious cat to play with a kitty Josie is not for you. However, if you want a snuggle partner, she has consistently proven that she loves people and rubs.
