Flower's Story...
Flower is a rambunctious little girl! She loves to jump in and play with everyone. When you hold her for even for a minute she actually smiles! She was born 09/27/16 and is ready to be adopted. Her mother is a mere 36 pounds so she should grow up to be a medium sized dog like her.

Flower is up-to-date on vetting and is microchipped. She will not be old enough to be spayed until she’s 4 months old but is available now for foster to adopt. If you are interested in Flower or have any questions please contact her adoption counselor, Lisa, at 773-704-8417. Please visit fcacc.org to download the adoption application and email it to kbergland@gmail.com.

The adoption fee of $250 will help FCACC to continue to help Chicago’s neediest animals find forever homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flower, a Chicago Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
