The name's Mickey, and I'm a real man's man...nothing mouse-like about me....well, other than my ears! My story is the same as so many other dogs here at the Muskingum County Dog Warden & Adoption Center - my people weren't able to take care of me anymore so I landed here as a result. It's a real bummer, but I'm managing the best I can. If you can't tell, I'm a stocky fella, a real athletic stud type of guy. I'm a bit of a puller on a leash and I'm not too sure about all of this kennel business, but this stuff is all so new to me. If I were asked to describe my personality I would say I'm more of an "all business" type and less of the "snuggly" variety. Does that mean that I don't like a good scratch behind these ears? Absolutely not...but my previous people just weren't big on lovin' on me so I've got to learn what all of this affection stuff is all about! I'm not too sure about some other dogs...especially the ones who like to get all barky and what not, so if you are interested in me and have another pet, I'd really like to meet them first before I decide if they are cool or not. Anyway, that's me...Mickey...come check me out when you get a chance!
