Leopold "Leo"'s Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Leopold "Leo"'s Story...
Introducing Leopold "Leo" he is a great boy, approximately 40lbs, male, English Setter mix, and 1 to 2 years old. This is one sweetest boy that is very submissive, gets along great with other dogs big and small, and is curios about cats but not aggressive towards them. He is still in a puppy like stage so he loves toys, and will fetch to bring a ball to your general area. He enjoys being indoors with a family, and requires medium activity. He would do well in any family lifestyle, but would be better with a family in a house. Leo walks great on a leash, working an crate training, and potty training. He is up to date on vaccines, Heartworm test negative and on prevention, wormed, and is scheduled for neuter and microchip on December 6, 2016.

If you are interested in adopting Leo got to our website www.furryfriendsofthefoothills.org, look for the adoption application tab, fill in all the forms fields completely, and submit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leopold "Leo", a Yadkinville English Setter dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Setter for sale in Yadkinville, or seeking a English Setter dog from a breeder in Yadkinville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yadkinville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yadkinville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Setter breeders who help with English Setter rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yadkinville paves the way for another one to be saved.
