Phoebe is a silky black kitten with a heart of gold. She is one of the sweetest cats you’ll ever meet! Phoebe is shyer than her brother Max, but doesn’t hang back for long; she keeps one eye on the action, and when she sees Max faring well with a new friend, she usually wants to join the party too. She’s a bubbly and easy-going member of the family.
Phoebe is a quiet kitty, hardly ever vocalizing, but she has the biggest, happiest purr imaginable. When she’s getting a pet or a cuddle from a loving person, she melts like putty into their hands. Her purr has brought smiles to many faces! Sometimes starting a game, or providing a fuzzy blanket for her to cuddle into is enough to get her purring.
Phoebe is all about play. She’s been known to wake from a nap in time to catch a toy mid-air. She’s very athletic. Her favorite toys are…all of them! Especially a feather toy on a stick that she can chase around, or balls that she can catch, bat around, and go chasing across the floor. Phoebe loves to play with and chase her brother, Max, and they take good care of each other with good company, grooming, and lots of snuggly nap times.
You may obtain an online application by logging on to CatAdoptionRI.org or by emailing catadoptionteam@aol.com. All of the cats and kittens are placed with the Rhode Island State mandated proof of spay or neuter. In order to take your new cat or kitten home with you, there must be an approved application prior to any placement. Application approval is usually within 24-48 hours. We, at CATS, are very proud of all of the cats and kittens that we help facilitate finding new forever homes, and work very hard to make sure they are happy, healthy and well socialized. All of the cats and kittens are fed only a high end cat food. We are at the Providence Petco, located at 585 N. Main Street, Providence, RI most Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm and you are welcome to come by and see all the cats and kittens that are looking for new 'Forever Homes'.
Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten. Each cat or kitten is completely vetted prior to their placed. The policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be placed spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/leukemia, and have all age appropriate shots. There will not be any placement of any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions. This means that there is less out of pocket costs for people who adopt a cat or kitten from us and you will be in 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO!
