Wasabi & Hiro's Story...
Wasabi (English Angora) and his brother Hiro were owner surrendered to the shelter at just a few months old. Wasabi is a sweet boy and loves attention. Hiro is a shy but has been following his brothers lead and realizing that humans aren't so bad after all. Both are very fuzzy bunnies and it is strongly preferred they go to a home that has experience with woolly breed bunnies. Their fur is very high maintenance and they will do best if kept clipped down. They are also bonded and must be adopted together and stay together for life.

*If you are new to house rabbits, please do your research before adding a bunny to your home. They are phenomenal companions but you must understand rabbit behavior and the level of care they require!**

We adopt out to indoor homes only! If you are under the age of 18 we will need a parent or legal guardian to contact us. Our adoption fee is $85 for a single bunny and $140 for a bonded pair. For more information or if you are interested in adopting please send us an email at thebunnyburrowrr@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wasabi & Hiro, a Watauga Angora, English was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Angora, English for sale in Watauga, or seeking a Angora, English from a breeder in Watauga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Watauga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Watauga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Angora, English breeders who help with Angora, English rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Watauga paves the way for another one to be saved.
