Daphne's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Daphne's Story...
Daphne is a 4 1/2 month old chihuahua Italian greyhound mix. She weighs about 6 lbs now and should be about 12 lbs to 15 lbs full grown. The owner bought from a backyard breeder and decided after having her only a week they had no time for her. So they asked us to take her in.

She is a clean slate and very playful and loving. She is very energetic, great with other dogs and just wants to play with them and toys. Daphne is great with little children, she will just kiss their face.

She would be a good match for someone that has another playful dog or is very active. She is crate trained and is about 90% house trained. If you are interested in Daphne, please complete the on-line application as she does not always attend the weekly adoption event on Saturdays at PETCO. You can also contact us for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daphne, a Studio City Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound for sale in Studio City, or seeking a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound puppy from a breeder in Studio City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Studio City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Studio City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Studio City paves the way for another one to be saved.
