My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Caramel is a female Havanese/Poodle mix approximately 2 years of age. She weighs o 7 ½ lbs., and a bit on the thin side. Caramel has a soft wavy coat that is tan and cream color with a touch of gray/black on her ears. She is a quiet and mellow little girl, with a tendency to be shy and fearful of new people and new experiences. Once she feels comfortable with a person, she enjoys being held and caressed. Caramel will thrive in a peaceful home where there isn’t a lot of commotion. She would do best in a home without young children. She is happy to be near her foster family and will take a nice nap while you work. Caramel is excellent with other small dogs and although she isn't really playful, she enjoys canine companionship. Caramel loves treats and will perk up for a tasty morsel. Kind words and a gentle touch are the way to this little girl’s heart. Caramel was rescued from a shelter where she entered as a stray after being hit by car. Luckily for Carmel she was sent to an emergency hospital and x-rays showed no injuries. She is a lovely little dog and is now ready to meet her forever family.

You can meet Caramel SATURDAY, DEC. 3rd at the SANTA PAWS SUPER ADOPTION EVENT at Grossmont Shopping Center from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
