Facts about Bean-PetSmart

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: White
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Bean is an all white male cat of about 6 years. A few months ago he was found on the side of the road after being attacked by an animal. A good Samaritan took sweet Bean to the good doctors of Mt. Laurel and paid for his care. Although Bean lost his eye in the attack, he is a happy and loving boy. This King of the Cuddle loves eating, napping and catnip. He will make an awesome pet for many households and will do well with kids. He may also do well with a mellow cat. We believe Bean may be deaf because he has a loud meow. You will never lose him in your house! Come to PetSmart, 315 Rt. 70W in Marlton, NJ to meet this one of a kind wonder cat today!

About The Voorhees Animal Orphanage

About Our Shelter...

The Animal Orphanage of Voorhees is a loving place that welcomes 2,000 homeless pets each year. Our shelter is open intake, which means our doors are open to dogs and cats of any age, medical condition or breed. We are a no-kill facility and do not euthanize for space.
We are a non-profit organization and depend on donations and volunteers to keep our shelter doors open.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our orphanage is open to the public Monday-Friday from 12pm to 7pm, with the exception of the second Wednesday of each month during which we are closed for major cleaning.
On weekends you can visit our orphans between 12pm and 5pm Saturday and Sunday. We also have some adorable adoptable cats and kittens at offsite locations: PetSmart in Marlton and PetValu stores of Cherry Hill, Marlton and Voorhees.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters must be at least 21 years of age.
An application must be completed and can take up to a week to process. Once an application is approved, family meets, dog meets (if applicable) and home checks must be completed.
