Meet Orchid! They don’t come any more charming than this girl! She has been given a second chance at life (after being found living in a junkyard!) and is ready to find a forever home and family. And what a lucky family it will be! Orchid is a 3 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Beagle mix with a soft coat, a goofy smile, and the most soulful eyes!

Orchid is an energetic girl who would really benefit from being a member of an active family. You see, she loves to play ball, go for walks, and explore the world! However, Orchid also loves to cuddle and gets very attached to her people (especially kids). She enjoys learning new things and will do anything for a treat. Orchid does have something called a “high prey drive”. This means that she would do best in a home without kitties or other small animals that she could chase. And other dogs? Well, they are ok sometimes. She can be kind of picky and really doesn’t want to share her humans with anyone else. So, it would be best if she were the only dog in her new home.

Orchid knows that’s a lot to ask, but she hopes there is a family out there who will look past that and give her a chance. She promises to make a wonderful companion and return your love ten-fold!
