Lucille's Story...
Lucille came to our program when her previous "family" decided they no longer had time for her and "had" to move without her. Unfortunately, this is a common occurence for dogs.

Lucky for us, we found her and were able to take her into our program without hesistation. Lucille loves to be part of the pack at her foster family's home. The resident dog's include a 2 1/2 year old pit mix and a 19 week-old pit mix. She loves to puppy wrestle, play tug of war, and keep away. Chase is one of her favorite games as well with the rest of the pack. After the play is done, the pack cuddles together in a large puppy pile.

We are estimating Lucille to be about 7 months old and is cat, dog, and people friendly!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucille, a Warrenville Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Warrenville, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Warrenville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warrenville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warrenville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warrenville paves the way for another one to be saved.
