Weston's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Weston's Story...
Weston is about three years old and was signed over to us because his owner could not care for him. He is quite the little character, this boy! He is very playful; he enjoys chasing after toys and running around like a maniac! As cute as he is, he is not the right dog for just anyone. In his previous home, Weston was allowed to do whatever he pleased with little to no boundaries. Because of this, he does not appreciate being told what to do and definitely pushes the limits. Weston will need a home with someone who can set definitive boundaries and will not put up with any shenanigans!

For more information on Weston, call AWS at 860-354-1350 email animalwelfare.socty@snet.net or visit us during adoption hours (Tuesday from 11a.m until 7 p.m and Wednesday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) Adoption fee for dogs is $275 and puppies ( 6 months and under) are $325.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Weston, a New Milford Chihuahua/Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pomeranian for sale in New Milford, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pomeranian dog from a breeder in New Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pomeranian breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
