Tiffi in San Antonio's Story...
Tiffi is Jack Russell Terrier mix and is approximately 8-10 years old. She has a beautiful tan and white coat and only weighs 20 pounds. She is cat friendly and loves her long time companion Zeus, a male Westin mix (see separate posting). This sweet girl is up to date on her shots, is spayed, and is microchipped. Tiffi is fun and has a great personality. We will not place her with other female dogs or anyone with kids. She and her buddy Zeus need a home because their owner recently died unexpectedly at age 47. He loved his fur babies! If you can give them a forever home, please contact dorie.m.kidd@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiffi in San Antonio, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
