Starsky's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Starsky's Story...
Starsky is a 6.5 year old boy with a great personality. Starsky is a pretty mellow guy who seems to do well with most other dogs, but a meet and greet is required before he goes to a home with other pets. Starsky enjoys pitter-pattering around the yards and sniffing at anything and everything that catches his eye. This mellow boy would probably do well in most home situations, but he would do best in a home with a fenced yard with lots of place to meander around. Come check this fabulous furbaby out, today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Starsky, a Martinsville Treeing Walker Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound for sale in Martinsville, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound dog from a breeder in Martinsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Martinsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Martinsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Martinsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
