Here's what the humans have to say about me:
13 year old Sammy lost his home when his family moved and didn't take him with them. He gets stressed when he has to travel. He doesn't look or act 13 years old and could use a loving forever and EVER home to come adopt him. He is a short haired orange and white tabby with a handsome face.
As a senior kitty, Sammy's adoption fee is only $25. He also qualifies for the senior-to-senior program, there is no adoption fee for an adopter 65 years or older.
As a senior kitty, Sammy is part of the senior-to-senior program. Adoption fees will be waived for an adopter 65 years of age or older.
The application/screening process for potential adopters usually takes about 24 hours except when it falls over a weekend or holiday, and then it may take two or three days. We ask that potential adopters please be patient with us; we are only trying our best to ensure that the homeless pets in our care get the best possible home. All cats and dogs adopted from our shelter are spayed or neutered (as Texas law mandates).
Our adoption fee is currently $70 for non-residents and $75 for residents*.
The adoption fee includes:
spaying/neutering
vaccinations (appropriate to species and age)
heartworm or feline leukemia test (appropriate to species and age)
de-worming medication
microchip (a tiny ID tag inserted under the skin, which allows your pet to be returned to you quickly)
There is a $5 Pet License fee added to the adoption fee if the adopter lives inside the City Limits of Georgetown.
