Elsa's Story...
Elsa is a lucky little kitten. Her mother was a stray in a trailer park, a kind but very poor lady took her in and gave her shelter for a safe birth. Recently the Mom and all her kittens were able to come with us and we have gotten several of her kittens ready for adoption. Mom has already gotten a super loving home. Help us find Elsa and her 5 siblings a new home too!

C.A.T. Rescue is not a shelter, we are foster based. We showcase our adoptable pets at adoption events most weekends at many locations such as PetSmart Austin, San Marcos, New Braunfels. Tractor Supply Bulverde, Earth Angels San Marcos, etc. Visit and like our Facebook page for event schedules or contact us at CatAlliesofTexas@gmail.com.

Cat Allies of Texas Rescues' mission is focused on cats of Comal county. Our vision is to keep cats out of shelters, place adoptable cats and kittens in a home, reduce stray and feral populations through TNR. Help colony caregivers manage and care for their cats. C.A.T. Rescue will offer, when possible, humane assistance to all animals in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elsa, a Fischer Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fischer, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fischer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fischer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fischer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fischer paves the way for another one to be saved.
