Bella's Story...
Bella was surrendered by her elderly owner when she began vomiting and losing weight. Our rescue has taken ownership of her and given her the medical care she needed and continues to get. After extensive testing it was discovered she was suffering from esophageal spasms which was making her regurgitate after drinking water or after getting excited. She is now on phenobarbital which is controlling the spasms. She has been recovering and improving each day. At this point we are not sure if she will continue regurgitating in the future. If so it is not often and only when she is incredibly excited or has drank a lot of water too quickly. She is a very happy girl that will use a wee wee pad and is little maintenance. If interested please contact the rescue more information on Bella.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Jackson Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
