Piper's Story...
Meet Piper! This two year old pup loves to meet new friends, human and canine alike! She is an Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix with all the Aussie spirit you could ask for. Piper is smart, affectionate and active, doing best when she has a job. At 45 pounds, she's not too big and certainly not too small. Just the perfect medium size!

Piper gets along well with other dogs and kids too. Just like with all dogs, however, Piper should always be supervised with children. She's a high-energy gal and her Aussie spirit requires continuous exercise and enrichment.

Piper was previously spayed and is now current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. She also tested heartworm negative. Piper's ideal home would have experience with high-energy dogs. For more information, stop by and see us!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piper, a Germantown Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
