Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Spike is a happy 2 year old Lab/American Bulldog mix. Spike's owner had to move and could not take this big loverboy with him. He had him since he was a pup. Spike was kept outdoors on nice days in a fenced in yard and brought in every evening. He knows sit, paw and will sit up for attention. Spike has not been left alone indoors, so we don't know how he would handle the separation. He sometimes jumps or paws for attention and is very strong, so evaluate with young children. Spike was recently adopted and returned. He was destructive in the home when left alone. Spike is house trained. He likes other dogs but has not been around cats. He needs a family that will give him lots of exercise and be patient with his indoor training.
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
