Benny's Story...
Name: Benny
Breed: Shepherd mix
Age: Adult
Gender: Male

Benny is an adult male Shepherd mix, about 50 pounds, who is a gentle beast. He gets along well with kids, dogs, passed the cat test at the shelter easily. He landed at the shelter and although his owners knew he was there, chose not to reclaim him-- and he's all done being a backyard dog anyways, he is way too social and wants to be in with his family so this is a good thing for him. Benny is learning the house training, doing well, and crated for the workday. He loves walks, car rides, meeting new friends, and kids.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benny, a Minneapolis Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
