Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chili is a young male who escaped from his home south of Houston so many times that his family decided to just leave him there. This handsome Red and White boy is around 2 years old and stands 15+ inches tall. He is a muscular 30 pounds. He spent two weeks in his first foster home before spotting a squirrel running along the neighbors fence and flew over the 42-inch chain link fence that had been keeping him confined! He will need a tall fence with a secure latch!
Scooby is the name he goes by in his foster home. He was ignoring commands addressed to “Chili”, so best to go with a name he will come to! Scooby is fully house broken with and without the use of a dog door. He is kennel trained and as a young boy, will need to be kenneled when no one is home.
Scooby loves to play and wrestle. Scooby was great with a large pack of beagles and is getting along with a couple larger dogs in his current home. He is gentle in playing with his foster Dad so will probably be good with older kids. He does leap up so small kids would not be a good idea.
He loves to cuddle up next to you and will sleep on our bed if allowed. He has a sweet nature but is all beagle with a strong desire to get into mischief! He will make a great companion for an active family that will give him lots of exercise.
