Cookie's Story...
Cookie is an adorable 36 pound little bundle of love!

She's a snuggler. Loves sleeping in bed under covers. Great with other dogs, good on a leash, knows how to use a doggy door and loves going for car rides. Being a puppy at about 10 months old, Cookie is still getting a little training on how not to jump up. She would be great with children. Cookie had to undergo leg surgery when we pulled her from the shelter but is going through physical therapy and doing just fine. She may have been abused at some point but has come around wonderfully with a lot of love from her foster family. Cookie will make some lucky person/couple/family a wonderful loving little girl.

To meet Cookie, please fill out an Adoption Application at www.dalrescuetampabay.org Home and vet checks required. Adoption fee is $150.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cookie, a Tampa Dalmatian/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian/Pointer for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Dalmatian/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian/Pointer breeders who help with Dalmatian/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
