Here's what the humans have to say about me:
KEENA is a 3 year old spayed black female Lab who weighs 62 pounds. Keena is a really lovely lab. She is well-behaved and can be left alone without incident. She loves to take a walk, especially if she can stop and sniff out the calling cards of other animals. She doesn't make any fuss when encountering other dogs, and has made friends with the neighborhood cat, Beano. She is highly food motivated; it's best to offer food or treats with an open palm. She gets attached to humans pretty quickly. She is adorable in the morning, she greets each new day with hugs and lots of tail wagging. Keena is good with dogs and appears to be good with cats. Keena was dumped at a high-kill shelter when owner decided she didn't want to take care of her anymore. She is approved for kids 10+. More info soon!
Update: Keena would love to go to a family where she's not left alone all day, just because she craves the attention she hasn't had in her short life, so we're looking for someone who will not leave her for a long workday.
