Meet PUMPKIN in Rhode Island
We do not transport dogs out of the area. We ask that you live within 50 miles of the dog's location. We are an all volunteer organization and can only respond when a completed application is filed. We do list our requirements, so please read carefully. please don't be discouraged if you don't hear right back , we all work full time jobs. All dogs are adopted through contract.
WE DO REQUIRE A PHYSICAL FENCE because Pumpkin LOVES LAYING IN THE SUN OUTSIDE.
Pumpkin is about 1-2 years old and about 10 lbs. He is completely vetted.Did you see his stunning eyes? What about his coloring? He will steal your heart when he poses and you will melt with love. We believe him to be part Papplion, Pomeranian, and Chihuahua !! HOW TERRIFIC IS THAT?
He gets along with other dogs, we don't know about cats. He is a bit shy so we do not recommend children for this adoption. He is sweet and loving, but it does take a bit of time for him to warm up. Once he does, he is yours forever. He seems to bond easily. He is a quiet boy and we have not seen any barking tendencies or nipping. We hope to find a quiet home with someone with a lot of patience to help Pumpkin gain confidence. He will not readily come to you. Once you have him in your arms he is delighted to stay.

Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do NOT save applications, but you may put multiple names on one applciation. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted.
