LUCY's Story...
Lucy is the most adorable pint sized Rottie/Hound mix you ever did see! She was turned into the shelter 11/22/16 by her previous owner who said she is GOOD WITH KIDS and HOUSEBROKEN. They turned her in because they could no longer afford to properly care for her. Lucy is about 4 years old and weighs just 33 lbs. She knows all her commands. She is current on her vaccines and upon adoption will be spayed, heartworm tested and micro chipped. Lucy's ID # is 590519 and she can be found in cage 876.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LUCY, a Marietta Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
