Persephone's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Persephone's Story...
Meet Persephone! This seven month old girl is as gorgeous as they come. Persephone has a fluffy orange tabby coat with sparkling green eyes and the loudest purr! She was surrendered to our shelter due to not getting along with the other cat in the household. Although Persephone gets along well with dogs (and kids too), she must be the only cat in her new home.

Persephone is incredibly outgoing and enjoys meeting new people. She's also very playful! Currently weighing ten pounds, Persephone will continue to grow. Her new home should be ready to welcome an extra-large feline!

Persephone was previously spayed and is now current on vaccinations. She also tested FIV/FeLV negative and has been microchipped. To meet Persephone, stop by the shelter today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Persephone, a Germantown Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
