Frosty has been living in a foster home with two cats and two dogs of a similar size. He does great with all of them. He doesn't necessarily need another dog in the home as long as his person is available often. He hasn't been around children, but as there is not a mean bone in his body, he would do fine with children who know to go slow and to be patient with him. He isn't a fan of noise or chaos--another point to be considered for his forever home.
If you ask Frosty's foster family, they will tell you that this "little nugget is the sweetest and most loving creature on the face of the Earth!" and "He is an angel!" He does have something about him that makes you swoon. It could be the constant pitiful look he gives. Whatever it is, it works in order to have people wrapped around his little finger (toe?). Frosty would probably prefer a fenced yard where he can walk around and explore on his own terms. He isn't really into leash walking yet. He doesn't like a collar nor a harness and only makes it one house away before he belly's up and protests his walks.
Frosty is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is housebroken and crated trained. It took a little adjustment to get him to this point, but he has recently gotten into his groove and is doing great. He does cry when the crate door is closed (when left home alone), but does enjoy the safety and coziness of the crate when the door is open. Frosty has had some dental work done and is missing a couple of teeth. He will require a soft food diet.
The adoption fee for Frosty is $125. The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application in the link below. After his applications are reviewed, we will arrange meet and greets.
