Find a pet to adopt
BJ was just found relaxing in a couple's backyard. They were unable to find the owners so he was brought down to the shelter for safe keeping. BJ is thought to be a lab mix of some sort. He is very friendly, but is a little bit shy of the car. He was slightly overwhelmed by the kennels at first, but has since settled in. He doesn't seem to mind the other dogs either at he shelter. If unclaimed by an owner, he will be available for adoption on the 24th. The Shelby County Animal Shelter is open Monday-Friday from 9-5 and Saturday 9-1.
