MURPHY is such a great dog! His is adored in his foster home which he shares his foster home with a 3 year old little girl and a 1 year old husky. He is tremendously smart! He taught himself the dog door in under 5 minutes and swiftly follows direction. He loves to play but isn't a hyper or a barky boy. He is in heaven sitting on his foster mom's lap and cuddling in her bed at night. MURPHY knows not to potty in the house and minds his manners in his crate while his foster mom is at work. He rides very nicely in the car and will definitely be a loyal sidekick to his forever family. He can be timid initially in new situations, but warms up quickly. He is your best bud/shadow in a matter of days. The video on his adoptapet post was filmed less than 7 days after arriving to his foster home. MURPHY weighs about 40 lbs and is the perfect age of 2-3 years old. He will make more than a decade of happy memories, but is past his crazy and difficult puppy stage. His forever family will be blessed to have this boy.
MURPHY is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
His $300 adoption fee includes transport to the Nashville area.
An adoption application for MURPHY can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
