My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is a 9 month old White shepherd husky mix, larger dog about 85lbs. He is fully house trained, he will whine at the door to be let out. Max is also neutered and up to date on his shots. He does have separation anxiety when left alone, so a crate is strongly advised to help him keep calm, and away from any valuables! When you leave him he does bark/whine for about 10 minutes and then settles and is calm the rest of his time in crate, waiting for you to return home. This is improving everyday as his foster is working on his anxiety. He would do best in a home with another dog who would like to play and keep him company. Max having a furry friend actually seems to help his anxiety and keeps him occupied while you are busy doing things around the house - his furry sibling can show him how to be a confident and happy pup! He also walks very well with a prong collar.

Max is skittish of people at first but warms up after a few minutes. He may bark at first greeting with some people, but this is improving as he gets more exposure to people and more outings in busy places. He bonds very well to his people and looks to you as if saying "what's next"! Max is great with other dogs and is good with cats as well. He does need an owner who is willing to keep up with his socializing and work on his anxiety. Max overall is a FANTASTIC dog and just loves to please people!
