Sarge's Story...
"Stand up Straight, Now Sit, Now Get that lap ready! I'm Sarge, I am about 2 years old and am a dachshund mix and I am ready to take command of that comfy lap and warm spot next to you on the couch. If you are ready to give up some of that space for me I would be the happiest dog in the ranks. I am really quite easy going and would love a home where my lap time is interspersed with outings out and about with my family. I can be a little shy at first but that is just so you can get to know the real me. I'm headed in to get the once over by the doc and then I will be ready to head to my new post in my forever home. I do have a buddy that would love to go with me too, we were rescued together from a hoarders house. If you are interested in learning more about me please contact us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sarge, a Grants Pass Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Grants Pass, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Grants Pass.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grants Pass already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grants Pass breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grants Pass paves the way for another one to be saved.
