Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Everyone meet Hazel! She is a year and four months old and 50 pounds of pure energy and joy! She is sometimes considered the “perfect dog” around Companion Animal Alliance because she is the perfect companion any family can have. She has tons of energy when out in a yard but is very lovable when it comes to one on one time with her human. She loves any human she comes in contact with, including children, and loves playtime with cats and other dogs. She may seem a tad wild when out in the open, but can be a sweet, loving girl when it is time.
Hazel was surrendered to the shelter due to her owner not being able to keep her because of landlord issues. Being that she’s come from a home, she is house trained and goes into her kennel easily. She already walks pretty well on a leash as well, but could use some other basic training. Though she doesn’t know much, she shows some interest in learning basic commands. She is pretty attentive when called, and will run right over to you to play, but she is very adventurous, so if something else catches her eye, she has to figure out what it is.
Hazel is ready to find her FURever home and is hoping the perfect person comes along soon!
Young puppies are under 2 years old. Young dogs all come with spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, and vet exam. Adoption fee is $50-$150.
