Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Once upon a time, a businessman was travelling out of town in Sidney, Ohio. While in his hotel, in the middle of a rather large rain storm, he heard meowing outside his room. Deciding to brave the storm to see where the meowing was coming from, he found a little kitten, soaking wet, sitting inside a drain pipe. Of course, there was only one choice, but to take the kitten into his room, dry him off, feed him, and take him back home to Chicago. Now, we are helping “Sidney the kitten” to find you, so you can finish this story and give him his ‘happily ever after’.
Sidney is a little bit cautious at first (because he’s been through a lot) but once he gets comfortable, he is super friendly and affectionate. He is a big fan of cat toys and often can be found carrying more than one toy mouse at a time! His beautiful coloring captivates everyone he meets.
Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a playful cat. Kittens really need a playmate in their forever home…and then they can get to play, and snuggle while you're not home. Check out our other fosters to find a buddy for Sidney.
If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, we will consider adopting out a kitten older than 4 months. Each foster home knows the kitten’s personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements.
Sidney’s estimated date of birth is 9/10/16. His adoption fee of $135 includes his vet exam, FVRCP vaccinations, FIV & Feline Leukemia testing (neg), routine deworming, flea control, microchip and neuter.
