My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN THE MIDWEST OR NEW ENGLAND AREA
Roslie. VA VA VA VOOM! This stunning older gal is currently up for adoption. She is a huge sweetie! Rosalie is a bigger gal weighing about 70lbs and she is approximately 7-8 years old. She has excellent house manners and is doing very well in her foster home. She is in the prime of here life and can walk for miles with her human by her side. She is also a perfect candidate to keep your feet warm on a cold snowy day. She takes treats nicely and loooooves to play keep away with her toys. She is good with other dogs and with cats. Its hard to understand why these precious souls end up in such bad situations. She was surrendered to a very loud noisy shelter and was terrified. Now she is in a loving foster home and thriving. We do believe that she has been abused. She is a bit nervous meeting new people and is shy to have you touch her head. However, when she warms up to you, she loves you. She would do well in a home with older respectful children or no children and an environment that is fairly calm as chaos may add to her dismay. She is truly a lovely girl that is deserving of a loving family to give her a doting home. Rosalie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and has been heart worm tested. She is microchipped and kept on frontline and heartgard. She does have a touch of arthritis and will need some good healthy food and supplements to help her along the way, but she gets around great and is still very active. If you can give this sweet older gal a loving home, please complete an online application and request her on the notes section.
