A - CAMILLE's Story...
Hi, there! My name is CAMILLE, CAMI for short. What’s yours? Nice to meet ya! WATCH MY VIDEO!

Hey! Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK? As soon as you adopt me, I’ll be on my way to you!

I am a little Shih Tzu girl, 1.5 years old and I weigh 12 pounds. I will have had all of my shots and be spayed before I go to meet you in my new home with YOU! Those funny-looking 2-legged creatures said I’d also be microchipped – whatever THAT is.

Wanna hear more good stuff about me? OK, here goes. My foster mom says that I am a lovely, quiet little girl. I get along with other little doggies and I am not even bothered by some big Poodles I’m living with! There are some cats living here, too, but I don’t bother them. I guess I can take ‘em or leave ‘em. I don’t want to be in a home with small children because they don’t know when they are hurting me or when I don’t want to play. They want to carry me around and jostle my tummy til I get sick! It’s not their fault. They don’t know. And, besides all that, I haven’t had any accidents in the house! Good, huh?

I am super sweet, my foster tells everyone. I know she’s telling the truth because they all love on me and smile and speak very sweetly to me. So, it must be true. How ‘bout that?

My foster mom loves me SO much that she only wants me to fly to my new home even if a pet transport truck was available. See my adoption information below.

If you would like to take me home (and you know you do), please email and she can get me on my way to a new and loving home! My adoption fee is $650 USD and includes my vetting, spaying, microchip, health certificate, travel crate AND transportation on United Airlines from Houston, TX to areas in the Northeast U. S., North Central U. S., Northwest U. S., and Canada and will be arranged by the rescue group. (This is a courtesy posting.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

A - CAMILLE, a Boston Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Boston, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
