My name is Grace. I am approximately 6 months old, and have been fixed, microchipped, and am up to date on my shots. Here is my story: When I was a kitten, my sister Lacey and I lived inside of a house and belonged to a family with a little girl. Unfortunately, when they moved out of the house they were renting, they threw us outside with the furniture and trash they didn't want anymore. They left us outside and drove away, leaving us behind; and we were abandoned. We had fun for a few days running around the yard and chasing lizards, but then we got very hungry and we showed up on a nice lady's doorstep and she started feeding us. Luckily, she was able to foster us through St. Francis Animal Rescue, and she brought us inside of her house.
About me: I am a little shy at first, but will warm up quickly, and am very gentle and sweet. My foster Mommy says I have a more quiet personality, but that I am super laid back and sweet. Even though I am a little bit shy, it won't take me long to warm up to you, and within a day or so I will be able to trust you more and give you love. I LOVE eating my wet food, and I like playing with toys that chirp and make noise. I enjoy spending time in the screened in porch room, and would certainly enjoy spending time in one if my new human adopter has one.
My foster Mommy has a large pitbull, and although at this point I don't enjoy playing with her--she doesn't freak me out too much-- and I think with time, I would adapt to her with no problems, infact, I think I could adapt to a a friendly dog over time. I enjoy being pet and getting belly rubs. I love sunning myself in a sunny window, and my foster Mommy says I have a very sweet and gentle laid back vibe. She thinks I am absolutely beautiful with my markings, and she says my fur is super soft and silky.
I am completely litter box trained, and am being adopted out through St. Francis Animal Rescue Society.
I am currently in a cage up at Pet Supermarket in Clearwater/Largo if you would like to come meet me to see if you would like to take me home.
My adoption fee is $70 to help cover the cost of my spay and shots and vet visit.
Please contact Emily at Namastemle@gmail.com or at 727-478-5579 text preferred, if you call please make sure to leave a voicemail.
I would love to find my forever loving home as soon as possible. I would love more attention and affection and my own humans who love me. My sister Lacey just found her forever home, and now I am hoping I can find mine.
Thank you so much for adopting a rescue pet, and for saving a life!
