Facts about Zulee

  • Breed: Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) Mix
  • Color: White - With Red, Golden, Orange Or Chestnut
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Zulee was found living on the street in a small Mexican town. She was rescued by a kind local and lived in a family with 3 other dogs for several months before coming to the US. She is currently in a foster home with one other dog and 3 cats. She gets on well with the dog, who is a fellow Mexican, but will chase the cats if not supervised so a home without cats is best.
Zulee has loads of energy and loves to run and play with the other dog. She prefers dogs her size or smaller. She really enjoys walking and hiking too.
Since coming to the US she has learned to walk well on a leash and behave nicely
around other dogs.
New situations can be scary for her and she is wary of strangers but she is gradually learning how to be a well balanced and well behaved citizen.
Zulee is about 18 months old and weighs 37 pounds.
She is smart, sweet and very affectionate.
She would do best in a home with no young children(children 7+ would be best) or cats but would enjoy the company of another dog.
She would prefer to have a home with a fenced yard and an active family who will provide her with regular exercise and who is committed to her ongoing training.

Zulee's adoption donation is $275 to cover vetting and care while in rescue. LAMPR is a 501c3 public charity and all monies go to help other dogs in need.

Thanks for considering a rescue!
