Ion's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ion's Story...
I am a 9 year old Blue Chihuahua. I have spent my whole life in a crate and only being allowed out for breeding. I am shy, but very sweet. I need a patient owner that will give me time to get used to the world I have been missing out on. I love other dogs and would do best with another dog to show me how to live the life I was deprived of. Since I came in I have been neutered and had a dental, I have no teeth now! If you are a chihuahua lover and can give me love for the rest of my life, then please come adopt me today!

Adoption fee $75 plus $10.99 to register my microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ion, a Springfield Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
