Hi, my name is Kyli. My story is a long one but I found myself all alone, wandering the mean streets of the big city. And I had a terrible medical problem. The rescuer was surprised to see that I had a large tumor hanging from my neck. Some would have turned their back on me and looked the other way. But Lone Star Shih Tzu and Lhasa Apso Rescue saw past that and saw the sweet, loving boy I could be, once my medical needs were cared for. Now I'm hoping someone out there will give me a second chance at happiness. I really want a new family!
My foster mom says I am really sweet! It's true, if I do say so myself! I like to play with toys and I like to eat! So no worries about me being a picky eater. I like to play with my squeaky toys and when I get tired, I just lay my head on the toy and use it for a pillow. Then I always know right were it is when I wake up from my nap and are ready to play.
I have been known to snore (loud) sometimes but that just means you know right where I am napping! Right now, I weigh about 15 pounds. I'm working on my house training manners in my foster home. There aren't any kids or cats in my foster home so I can't tell you whether I like them.
I heard that I am a Lhasa Apso or maybe a Shih Tzu! As you can see, I'm a very handsome black and white dog. Our vet estimates that I am around 8 years young.
What makes me special? Other than being a super sweet gentleman, I lost one eye and I have no sight in the other so I am blind but that doesn't slow me down! Just please don't rearrange the furniture every week :)
