Romeo's Story...
Meet Romeo! This handsome stud is 1.5 years old, 85 pounds, and is looking for his forever home. His ideal home would be someone with large breed experience who will continue his obedience training. He comes with a month of training already under his belt and he's ready to get settled in to his new digs. He can live with laid back dogs but no kids for this guy. He walks well on a leash, is crate and potty trained, and rides very politely in the car. He'd love a quiet home where he can just hang with his people! If you're interested in Romeo please email caredogvolunteers@gmail.com!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Acushnet American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Acushnet, or seeking a American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Acushnet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Acushnet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Acushnet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Acushnet paves the way for another one to be saved.
