Sparkle-LITTLE SWEETHEART's Story...
They call me SPARKLE. That's my purr-sonality -- sparkly! Well, once I get to know you. Super sweet and affectionate, I will happily curl up in your lap. I'm looking for a calmer, quieter home with a kind human who can help build my confidence. A laidback kitty is okay, and so is a gentle, quieter kid 10+. Not sure about a dog, but if if will pretend I'm invisible and isn't yappy, I'm good. I'm a little lover. Take me home today!

** SPARKLE is estimated to be 10 months. Her adoption fee is $125. Come see her at the Naperville PETCO (348 S. Rt. 59, near Arby's)! WALK-IN ADOPTION HOURS at that location are 1-4:00 on SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS -- NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY.

** For more information or to schedule a weekday appointment, please email dina.purrsnaperville@aol.com. (Our phones are currently under maintenance, and will be available again shortly.)

** All PURRS' cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLeuk tested, wormed, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparkle-LITTLE SWEETHEART, a Hillside Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hillside, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Hillside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillside paves the way for another one to be saved.
