My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Visit our website to fill out an adoption application at www.littleorphanangels.org or visit our new adoption location at Petsense 5615 Rufe Snow Dr. North Richland Hills TX 76180 beginning October 1, 2016.

There are a lot of sad stories about animals out there. Oscar’s beginning is no different – he was a REAL “throw away” kitten. Little Orphan Angels took Oscar in from a Good Samaritan who literally rescued this little boy from a trash can. They heard meowing and thought he was in the bushes behind the can, but then realized to their horror that he had been placed IN the can! They swiftly and gently dumped the can over on its side to allow him to crawl out. Scooping him up, he was brought into the house to be checked out, cleaned up and fed. After spending a night with his Good Samaritans, he was delivered to LOA into the arms of his foster family.

His foster family tells us he is beyond sweet! He’s very friendly, outgoing and calm for a kitten. Oscar never meets a stranger and will snuggle with anyone who will take the time to love on him. He regularly sleeps with foster mom and likes to cuddle close. Oscar’s play energy is medium and he should be good with other cats, kittens, and children children. He doesn’t appear too impressed by dogs, so we would have to proceed carefully if there were a dog in his forever home. He does have a tendency to want to greet new people that come to the house and will rush to answer the door with you, so he needs to be monitored carefully that he doesn’t run outside.

Please come by Petsense at 5615 Rufe Snow Drive in North Richland Hills most Saturdays and visit with Oscar. You can get more information or arrange to meet him by emailing adopt.littleorphanangels@yahoo.com. And by the way, he may be named Oscar, but he’s no grouch!
