My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All I want for Christmas is for us to be adopted together!!

Our names are Daisy (smaller one) and Dakota.  Our foster mom has taken care of us for several months now, but she says we are ready for our furever home.  When we came to her, we were very, very scared and had no idea what it meant to be touched.  She patiently worked with us day after day until we realized that she was okay and we could trust her.  In fact, our brother did so well that he has already been adopted and that’s what we want………….to be adopted!!

We may still get scared at times when we hear a strange noise or are outside our elements, but we are nothing like how we were when we first came to our foster mom’s home.  My foster mom believes that it would be so awesome if we could be adopted together.  We do everything together and feel better when we have each other.  My foster mom says that we can learn to trust others, but may need time to adjust to a new home.  If there are other pets in your home, she suggests putting us in a small area/room in your home for a bit where you could come in and visit us.  This would help us get acclimated to your smell, touch, and etc.  If we would be the only pets in your home, she believes we would be fine checking everything out on our own.  She also says that a home with an older teenager or maybe even a single person (or couple) would be the ideal home for us.

You should know that we have been around our foster mom’s dogs.  She has two small dogs and one really big dog, but we just sniff them and walk right on by!!  We have also been around her other cats/kittens and like to play with the younger kittens, but don’t care for the older cats.

We are litter box trained, we know that we have to sit still when our nails are clipped, and we were raised in a cat condo.  We love to play with all kinds of kitty toys, especially the wire toy!!  You should know that if you decide you are willing to adopt us together, my foster mom has put together a special bag for you that has all of our favorite toys, treats, and even our favorite blanket in it.  And there is one other BIG surprise, but you will only find out what that is if you adopt us together!!

Will you open your arms and your heart; and make our Christmas wish come true?!  We really, really want to be adopted together and hope that you will give us a chance to show you how much we have learned and how much we can love you!!

Thank you for taking time to read about us!!
