GEORGIE *adoption pending*'s Story...
***12/13/16 - ADOPTION PENDING!***

Georgie is a sweet mixed breed puppy about 9 to 10 weeks old that came to us when her owner decided he had too many dogs. We think she may be a border collie mixed with a small breed like rat terrier or chihuahua. We were told by her former owner that the momma dog is a purebred border collie.

This is a smart and quick little puppy and we believe she will be medium size when full grown.

She is not yet housetrained and is a little bigger than shown in these photos. Georgie gets along well with other dogs. We have not seen her around cats.

Georgie has had her first vaccination and will need booster vaccines and then a rabies vaccine, when she is old enough.

Georgie's adoption fee is $100. In addition we will require a $150 deposit, which will be refunded when we receive proof of spay.

If you are interested in possibly adopting Georgie, please complete an on-line application located here: http://www.adoptapet.com/IDAWG/adoption-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GEORGIE *adoption pending*, a Nampa Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Nampa, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Nampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
