Sammie (and Beamer)'s Story...
Up for adoption in Texas: A wonderful bonded pair: Sammie and Beamer.

They were abandoned when their owner died and Lucky Lab Rescue and Adoption took them in. It's sad story but we hope to give these two a wonderful home to live out their golden years.

Beamer (9 year old female) and Sammie (8 year old male) are both dogs are well behaved and have been well-cared for.

Sammie is happy-go-lucky fella who loves being outdoors. He spends his time lying under the tree in the back yard. He always comes around with his tail wagging and a happy smile.

Beamer is the conservative of the two. She’s the protector, but is very loveable and likes snuggling on the couch.

The pups have been fed quality dog food, and because of this, they have not had any health issues and they have a beautiful, healthy coat.

We think these dogs would do better in a calm home with adults and/or adult and older kids. Just a nice chill place.

Beamer is about 65 lbs and Sammie is about 75 lbs.

They are neutered and spayed, vaccinated and house broken.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammie (and Beamer), a Austin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
