Doesn’t my name sound like the name of a proper English gentleman? Well, it fits because I am a gentleman, first and foremost. I always conduct myself in a manner that will make both of us proud. I love people, but I never roughhouse or jump up on them. Even Carson would be happy to have me at Downton Abbey!

Even if your home is a few rooms shy of Downtown Abbey, you and I can live together quite comfortably and happily, because I know how to behave in a home and how to use the sliding door to reach the yard (I’m housebroken, of course). I am friendly to all dogs and people. And it goes without saying that I know how to walk nicely on a leash as we stroll around the estate (or the yard, or the neighborhood, or on your favorite trail).

Why you may ask am I here in the kennel looking for a home given that I have all of these sterling qualities? Unfortunately my former family was evicted from their own home and couldn’t care for me, so they found the poodle rescuers to help me in my search for another family. I am very grateful to them for that and for the care they gave me when I was with them. So here I am, waiting like the gentleman that I am for the next chapter in my life to begin. Take me home with you and I’ll give you all of the love and devotion that Carson gave to his Downton Abbey home – I’ll just do it in a happy, poodley way.

The necessary first step to inquire about any dog, is to complete the NCPR Adoption Interest Form. Once we receive the NCPR Adoption Interest Form, a volunteer will contact you promptly. We need your information to match you with the perfect companion. NorCal Poodle Rescue places dogs within northern California only.
