There is just nothing better than a comfortable pair of blue jeans....except for an awesome comfortable laid back pup named Blue Jeans. Blue is a 3 year old blue speckled (blue heeler) Catahoula/basset hound mix weighing 25 lbs. We have know clue as to how an adorable little guy like this could have ever ended up in a high kill southern shelter...but he did. Blue is one lucky pup in more ways than one. He was pulled into rescue and placed with a great foster mom. Sadly he was neglected in his previous life and ended up with heartworms. Luck prevailed! He can sing and dance because he's been treated and is a happy healthy boy now. Blue learned a lot of wonderful things in foster like how to be a wonderful indoor dog (so much that he REALLY likes to be in). He is house and crate trained, walks great on leash, and enjoys accompanying his people on car rides. Blue is good with other dogs, thinks cats are cats and worthy of harmless attention, and great with people. He is more accustomed to an older crowd but would likely love the company of well behaved older kids. He's a lap dog through and through complete with lots of love and snuggles. Blue is already neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. He is in a word 'ready' to find the home of his dreams. This sweet affectionate boy wants to be a cherished member of a loving caring family who will be forever with Blue Jeans.
